My Computer Graphic History

I started computer graphic by “Macromedia Flash” at junior high school third grader.
However, after learning software and creating Flash sites, I got bored.

When I was in my second year at university, I wanted to create 3D movie, so I started “Shade”.
However, unable to get used to “Free-Form Surface” of “Shade”, I was setbacked.

At that time, I was ispired by the Opening of “FREEDOM”, and started “Lightwave 3D” with the money I saved from my part-time job. “Lightwave 3D” was very easy to use. I made a few movie and played around with “Lightwave 3D”.
Then, I found out about “Adobe” and bought the student version of Adobe Production Premium to play with.

In college, I studied “Programming of Computer Graphics” and read books like “OpenGL”, “DIrectX”, “ARToolKit”, and so on. In the future, I was thinking of working in the field for “AR” or “VR” in the “Game” or “interactive media” field.

However, I enjoyed making “CG” as a hobby and wondered if I could work in the field of “CG Movie”. So I thought about going into the creative field, but I thought it would be difficult to get a job. So, I decided against “graduate school” and started attending “Digital Hollywood ( a japaniese computer graphics technical college )”.

And here, i touch “Adobe”, “Maya”, “3dsMax”, “ZBrush”, “Nuke” and so on. I remenber starting up “Softimage” and closing it gently because I didn’t understand it.

Since I started working, I mainly use “Lightwave 3D” and “MODO”. Now that I’m freelance, I sometimes touch “Maya” or “3dsMax” depanding on the job, but my proficiency level is not as high as the main tools.

Recently, I have also started to touch “Blender”.
